(1coil/100m≒328ft)

1. Scope

This specification applies to shielded cables using heat-resistant polyvinyl chloride for insulation and oil-resistant and heat-resistant polyvinyl chloride for sheath (SCUT6-XS).

2. Type, conductor size

Type and conductor size are Table 1.

SCUT6-XS _Table

3. Adaptation standard

Adaptation standard is Table 2.

SCUT6-XS _Table

4. Materials, construction and manufacturing methods

4.1 Conductor
The conductor shall be a stranded wire composed of annealed copper wires specified in JIS C 3102 and IEC 60228 Class 5.

4.2 Insulation
The conductor shall be covered with heat-resistant polyvinyl chloride, as insulation, concentrically in thickness shown in Attached Table 3.

4.3 Identification of cores
Insulation is colored black and printed in Arabic numerals by white ink.

CE-352(BE)-TSL_numbering

4.4 Assembly of cores
The requisite number of cores shall be assembled in S lay (left-hand stranding).
The fillers are inserted to the gap of the core, to make it a circular form, if it is necessary.
The cores are rolled up by the tape.

4.5 Shield
The shields shall be applied over the assembled cores, in the form a braid of tin coated annealed copper wires specified in JIS C 3152.

4.6 Sheath
Shielded cores shall be covered with oil and heat-resistant polyvinyl chloride (light gray), concentrically in thickness shown in Attached Table 3.
